Thanks Chris. It is hard to celebrate when you dont know the reason why something has happened, or the outcome of it.

Now that we have had a bit more of an explanation, it does appear that Cabrita gave GA the flick. One can only hope this is an indication of things heading south for the fat ****.

I wonder if Cabrita has chucked Gonc because of what the Leveson Inquiry is throwing up.
Sources of information given to British press by the Portuguese press and the PJ.
Two or three editors have admitted this week that they thought the PJ were a reliable source on information.
Says it all really.

The press knew that the information coming from the PJ was dubious at best. Portugal have secrecy laws, yet, the PJ, who were meant to enforce the secrecy laws are doing the leaking. Ummm, it doesnt take Einstein to work out that there was unlikely to be very little truth in those 'leaks', it was about spin, and influence.

The press just wanted to sell papers and failed to check their sources. They are despicable.

They cant offload their guilt on to the PJ. The PJ officers that leaked are guilty, and if the PJ hierarchy knew it was going on, then they are guilty too. But the British media are as much to blame.

One thing though, it certainly doesnt bode well for the fat man if he ends up being proven to have leaked false information. Is it too late for charges to be laid against breaking the secrecy laws back in 2007?

I was just thinking about the old Express HYS days, only the other day, when the Express was mentioned in the inquiry.

And you know I still cannot fathom where those despicable liars on there came from, and why. They used to tell the worst lies about the McCanns, and then fools like Viv used to believe it and 'improve' on them.
