You are connected,your child and thee,
by an invisible cord that no one can see
It's not like the cord that connects us 'till birth
this cord can't be seen by any on earth.

This cord does it's work right from the start
it binds you together attached to your heart
I know that it's there though no one can see
the invisible cord from your child to thee.

The strength of this cord it's hard to describe
it can't be destroyed it can't be denied.
It's stronger than any cord man could create
it withstands the test can hold any weight

And though she is missing, she is not there with thee
the cord, it still is, but no one can see
It pulls at your heart you are bruised...you are sore
but this cord is your lifeline as never before.
We are thankful that God connects you this way
A mother and child evil can't take it away!!

I saw that earlier on Tony's blog. So sweet. Beautiful poem.
Sad that Madeleine cant share today with her Mum.
