Bennetts Update.

We are now giving out the venue to all McCann-sceptics
(i.e. who disbelieve their abduction claim) who have indicated an
intention to attend our Cardiff meeting.

A room has been booked
for some time from 12.00noon onwards and The Madeleine Foundation will
once again be providing free lunch for all attendees, whether on time
or 'late'.

We anticipate that the core meeting will begin about
2pm and last till 5pm, once again beginning with round-the-table
introductions, one of the key points of this meeting being a
'get-to-know-you' exercise).

Debbie and myself both plan to attend, God willing, and
we shall provide an update on further correspondence received this week
from Carter-Ruck (which we cannot yet disclose) and also moves to shore
up the defences to our website.

I noticed he didn't say he had a great holiday - I bet he didn't -- not with this issue hanging over his head. I would like to know what this further correspondence from CR says. If he's not willing to share, I think it is quite serious and TB will be asking for donations to support his defense.

Who exactly is he talking to with his God willing act?, has God been speaking with Tony?

Mulleena, it sounds like they might have a prior arrangement on that day, one they cant get out of. That is what "plan to attend, God willing" means, that there is a possibility that they wont be there.

I agree that he's probably going to ask for money from those who turn up to this meeting. He'll be looking for donations and for attendees to do fund-raising for the legal fees he & Debbie will be required to pay as a result of their malicious harassment of the McCann family and attempts to thwart the search for a missing child.

If his followers think this is a worthy cause for their time, energy and childrens' inheritances then more fool them. Personally, I wouldn't give him a ha'penny of my hard-earned cash. The man is a loser and a goon (that's Burmese for tosspot).

I just wonder what he meant by using the term "God willing"?

Does he mean they will be there if they have not arrested and charged with criminal charges? If he does, then his supporters should 1) not hold their breath and 2) not make any travel arrangements just yet!

I think the fact that he said 'God willing' means he is in fact very worried that he will NOT be attending! For obvious reasons! And if you are reading this bennett, don't fool yourself, C-R almost certainly know by now exactly where your hate meeting is taking place, and will be there to meet anyone who turns up with legal writs!

Thank you Midas for your questions and your thoughtfulness about what lies ahead.
On the question of personal safety, I am not sure that anyone who is publicly opposed to the McCanns’ version of what happened to Madeleine McCann can really feel 100% safe. For example, the original senior detective in the case, Goncalo Amaral, found his dog killed, a close associate of Robert Murat, Sergei Malinka, had his car burnt out with the words ‘FALA’ – ‘Talk’ – sprayed in red paint on the pavement next to the burnt-out wreckage, I myself received a death threat in Otober 2008 which was duly investigated by Essex Police, and when Goncalo Amaral said he was going to write up the story of his investigation in a book, the McCanns’ chief public relations adviser, Clarence Mitchell, warned in unfriendly terms: “Do you know what you are doing? You had better take care”.

Then again there is the atmosphere of threats, menace, hatred and sheet obscentity and vulgarity that one finds on those lurid forums and websites that support the McCanns – I won’t name them here, but most people who visit our website would be truly shocked to read some of their vile and all-too-graphic outpourings. As we have stated in a previous article, some of the perpetrators of this venomous abuse are also currently under investigation by Essex Police.

On the question of the worst case scenario as regards Carter-Ruck’s threatened libel proceedings, we might feel forced to seek expensive legal representation to match the McCanns’ big gun, Adam Tudor, we might lose any libel case, we might then have to pay the McCanns a lump-sum by way of compensation, plus Adam Tudor and Carter-Ruck’s costs, and all of that could effectively bankrupt both of us.

So there’s a lot at stake. And in such a ‘hothouse’ environment with Adam Tudor on a massive monthly retainer from the McCanns or one of their wealthy supporters, there is a strong temptation to pack it all in, close the website, abandon selling the booklet and cease distributimg the leaflet. We are not in the least inclined to give in but we must respect the legal advice we are getting and more will be said about all this in a few days’ time.

Several people have offered to start a legal defence fund, or similar type of appeal, and in this connection I am sure ‘bomaris’ formerly of 3As forum won’t mind me publicly thanking him for a generous donation made towards those possible legal costs.

Debbie and I do not want to start any legal expenses defence fund ourselves. However we do not object to others starting one. If one is set up, we would like the constitution of any defence fund to provide that, if the funds collected exceed what is necessary for legal defence, any surplus should be donated to ChildLine.

A group of three or four people would be all that is needed to set up a legal defence fund committee.

That’s all I want to say on the subject for now.

We are not talking raiding the piggy bank and just putting in loose change here, we are talking re mortgages, bank loans, asset sales..the lot.

This about says it all really. I wonder if the sheeples have realised that importance of this one sentence. Suffice to say that anyone considering giving their hard earned money over to Bennett, should get clarification of what this sentence actually means.

And worth saying again, the threats that Bennett has supposedly received, pale into comparison with the threats that the McCanns have received, with many of those coming from sites where Bennett and his cohorts regularly post. And those threats I suspect have not escaped the notice of the authorities.

Bennett said that he and Butler disassociated themselves from that extra page that appeared on the MF website spoofing Mike Gunnill and greatly effecting the man's ability to earn his living and then going further on the Missing Madeleine forum and naming a completely unconnected innocent man and publishing his photo and inferring he is a paedophile simply because he specialises in family portraits.
Does Tony Bennett and Debbie Butler disassociate themselves from this new forum that Stevo has put up? The one where you type in www.madeleinefoundation.org which is the MF address which Godaddy took down for copyright infringement and when you click on it you are redirected to a site almost identical in name to the Official Find Madeleine site, where the same annoying touting for money drop down box appears and using the same photo of Madeleine which is copyrighted, do Bennett and Butler disassociate themselves with this? Because let me tell you when this goes to court, a judge is going to take a very dim view of that, it is actually putting a middle finger up at the law in this country. Bennett and Butler must really want to end up bankrupt.
Nice to see that TB admits they will lose, even if they do fight it, because lose they will BIG TIME. Obviously they have been given legal advice which tells them they will lose everything and yet, the idiots still appear not to be listening!

What Bennett and Butler and their supporters have done is criminal and they are still at it and have not taken a scrap of notice, well they get all they deserve, they asked for it.

As for others making donations as legal fees will no doubt go into hundreds of thousands of pounds, what are people going to donate? The roofs from over the heads of their families? Their entire life savings, their childrens inheritances? Because this is what it will take to fund Bennett and Butler, so any money being donated now is like a drop in the ocean and will be a complete and utter waste of money, money which even if they do not go to court, because they come to their senses and stop this vile evil persecution of innocent people, they will not get returned!

Also on one hand we have Stevo bragging about forging some interesting alliances and on the other we have TB in direct contrast.

Another thing the cohorts need to consider is that contrary to the BS they are being fed, it is not just about the MF site. This is only a part of it. It is the content that is libellous, and that content is spread far and wide on the internet. The MF website is simply one of a number of methods for distributing the libel. So it would be foolish to believe that it will stop there. Although it is entirely possible that if Bennett and Butler shut the website, hand over the booklet and cease their activities in this regard, it may stop. But if the continue, then it will go further and pull in a lot more people. And as Rosie says, this is just the civil proceedings we are talking about.

And then there are the criminal proceedings!!!!!!!
