NEXT FOUNDATION MEETING
Next Madeleine Foundation Conference Saturday 19 June and Sunday 20 June
Dear all,
This is mainly to update you on our plans for our next conference.
The details we can disclose at the moment are as follows:
Venue: In the vicinity of Macclesfield, not far from the M6. It is reasonably accessible by public transport and as before we will be happy to collect you from the nearest train station. We are sorry we can’t give further details now but our previous conferences have been undisturbed by interlopers and we want to keep it that way.
Slippers needed: This will be the first occasion when we meet at the home of a supporter. He has only one request - that you bring indoor footwear please.
Folding chairs: If the weather permits, we may be able to hold our discussions outside. If travelling by car, bring one or two folding chairs/deckchairs with you.
Programme: The format will be similar to previous events, namely:
SATURDAY: FREE Buffet lunch from 12noon to 2pm
2pm - Introductions, followed by…
Presentations and discussions. At the moment we have the following offers:
An MF supporter to speak on: DNA in relation to this case, touching on things like DZ/fraternal twinning by means of artificial reproduction/IVF and the Netherlands Genetic Initiative
An MF supporter to speak on ‘The rise and rise of Jim Gamble: why?’
Grenville Green to speak on the developing ‘Hollie Greig’ campaign (Note: we have also invited Robert Green, Hollie’s adviser, to attend)
Tony Bennett to speak on the matter of possible re-investigations into Madeleine’s disappearance and the role of the Home Office
Sharon Lawrence will speak on methods of giving practical support to Goncalo Amaral.
If anyone else would like to make a contribution and start off a discussion on any aspect of the case, please let us know.
On Saturday evening we plan to eat out together for those staying overnight.
SUNDAY: Discussions will continue at the home of an MF supporter for those staying out, times to be arranged.
Accommodation: Our host may be able to arrange free overnight accommodation for a strictly limited number of people; first come first served. Otherwise please ask and we’ll give you details of nearby accommodation.
Enquiries: To Tony at ajsbennett@btinternet.com
but from 7 to 26 May please e-mail sharon-lawrence@supanet.com for further information while Tony is away.
Registration: It will help us very much if you let us know ASAP if you plan to attend, either on the Saturday, or both days.
Interest from the BC ‘Inside Out’ programme: As those of you who attended our last conference will know, Simon Hare from BBC East Midlands attended and spoke about his interest in preparing a film of about 8 minutes on the work of The Madeleine Foundation for transmission in the autumn series.
The Committee have considered this and would be willing to facilitate some filming by the BBC during this weekend conference, subject to two conditions:
a) no filming can take place at or near the host’s home
b) only those willing to be filmed will be asked to take part.
The BBC want to film a segment of any discussion of ours which is connected to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. Provisionally we have agreed that they could film a discussion of us talking about support for Goncalo Amaral. Please let us know if you would be willing to take part in such a discussion. The Committee’s view, not without some reservations, is that this represents an opportunity, not a trap.
From Grenville Green, Chairman
Tony Bennett, Secretary
Sharon Lawrence, Treasurer

Re: NEXT FOUNDATION MEETING
Sounds like a fun weekend NOT! Anyone attending had best take their cheque books with them as that is the only help that Amaral is interested in.

Re: NEXT FOUNDATION MEETING
If he thinks the BBC are filming him to do anything except hold him up to ridicule then he is going to be sadly disapointed.
Re: NEXT FOUNDATION MEETING
Yes, Vee, interesting that they agree to be filmed while planning their next stalking/harrassment action.
I hope that Robert Green researches this mob before agreeing to come to their Houndation meeting. He should not associate himself in any way with these people who continually stalk and harrass a couple who have had their daughter tragically taken from them.
But going on past form, Bennett has asked him to come and speak, knowing full well he wont, just so he can publicise that he has asked him. He can then say at the last minute that Mr Green cant attend. Just like he did when he 'invited' Amaral to come to one of these 'conferences'.
And calling it a conference is a bit of a stretch of the truth, isnt it. A bit like taking a donkey and trying to pass it off as a thoroughbred race horse.

They probably haven't got any money. Stuff obviously not selling. And Bennett has been on holiday, again.

Nah, you can't be right about that. Bennett is only The Secretary. Or is he The Treasurer as well? In which case fifty fifty.

Re: NEXT FOUNDATION MEETING
Tony Bennett Today at 8:10 am
I have appealed to the Information Commissioner about the delay in answering our Freedom of Information Act enquiries about the Madeleine McCann case, in particular the questions about the Home Office's involvement in organising a review - and possible re-investigation - into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
Given the huge media and public interest in this case, it is hard to see how the Home Office could possibly justify refusing to answer our questions on the grounds that they are 'not in the public interest'.
In a way I am encouaged by the serious delay in answering these questions - it is now well over two months - given that normally FOI questions must be answered within a maximum of 20 working days.
It shows, surely, that there would be a very considertable degree of embarrassment to the government if they have to answer the questions honestly.
As it is now over 40 working days since these questions were asked (double the normal maximum time), I would recommend anyone else whose questions are unanswered to write to the Information Commissioner appealing agaisnt the delay in getting a response.
I had a holding response from the Information Commissioner whilst I was away on holiday.

Re: NEXT FOUNDATION MEETING
For crying out loud, he GOT an answer, and it was ***k off! There IS no delay, it is over, you are not going to get the answers you want, because it has been deemed not in bennett's interest. Oh dear, only YOU could try and turn a negative into a positive bennett. The government have nothing to fear, only in your warped mind.

Dear Tony Bennett,
Basically, who cares?
There is a new sport, it's called "swimming with sharks" I've taken the liberty of putting your name down, (shark proof cage is not allowed in your case.)

Re: NEXT FOUNDATION MEETING
It doesnt take much to work out why bennetts next meeting is just down the road from where Brian Kennedy lives and 20 mins from the Knutsford HQ.
The host must be the so called mole bennett claimed to have given him information on the Kennedys.
No doubt we'll be treated to a photo of bennett standing in front of
The Kennedys Family home.
He must have quite an album now of his stalker activities.
