Never did I hear such a stupid thing. I could hardly believe it the first. And then he found out how wrong he was. So why is he doing it again?
Is it to get his followers to fork out again?

Tinks he surely will, probably gave it to Sofia to stock up their wine cellar in their new house, since the last one was repossessed by the bank, for NON payment of the mortgage. And Amaral cannot blame that one on the McCanns since this was going on BEFORE Madeleine was abducted. (hmmm , something odd about that!) Should have gone to his ~~offshore bank account~~ "Specsavers". I think when Amaral's cupboards fall open it will be more than a few dusty skeletons and a bank manager that falls out!

Sabot, of course you are correct, Bennett would not send Amaral his own money, he is just being very liberal with the donations of others!

Remind me again, just what is Bennett and Amaral's excuses for making all this money out of an innocent missing child? What reasons exactly? Is Bennett a registered charity or a not for profit company? What is he doing with this money he is making?

The sheer hypocrisy and irony of this seem to have been totally missed by the "sheeples", they keep donating their money in order to keep these two men in luxury, for what reason?

Yet they have the astonishing audacity to criticise the McCanns for being paid for interviews for THEIR missing daughter and ploughing every last penny into the fund to help them keep searching for her.

Good gracious when are those blithering idiots going to wake up and realise they are being totally and utterly had over by Amaral and Bennett?

The Committee decided to hold a further two-day conference on 7 and
8 May 2011, in the Birmingham area.

3. Goncalo Amaral

You may recall that in our last letter, we wrote of Mr Amaral: “On top
of all his other trials and tribulations, he faces a further criminal trial
in relation to more allegations, which we once again believe to be
wholly false, made by the former partner of Leonor Cipriano”.
As some of you may know, on 17 March a judge totally dismissed Mr
Leandro Silva’s bogus claims of having been assaulted by Goncalo
Amaral and his colleagues. At last Mr Amaral seems to have come up
before a judge who is not politically controlled.
This still leaves him with the twin tasks of (a) defending the McCanns’
claim of 1.2 million euros against him for alleged libel in his book ‘The
Truth About A Lie’ and (b) appealing against his wrongful conviction
for allegedly filing a false report in the conduct of his investigation into
the murder of Joana Cipriano by her mother and uncle.
Our Chairman Grenville Green has been considering how we in the
United Kingdom can best assist Mr Amaral financially, believing that
it is crucial that he can afford the massive legal expenses these court
cases are costing him. We are looking into the practicalities and hope
to make an announcement soon.

Spot on Mod, nothing to do with Child Welfare or a new law to protect children.
The bank account is still
frozen, is't it? Doubt he's raised that much money selling the "files"
booklet. So he's using donations (again) for a different purpose, can't believe there's still people that stupid to donate to him.

What's happened did Amaral to himself. No need to support him financially. Besides there's doubts about his "bankruptcy" as well as his integrity. Didn't pay his taxes, did he?
Is he/are they now going to donate to every copper who's accused of covering up for beating up a suspect? For everybody who writes libellous things? Why's Amaral so special?
