I am getting the feeling, as usual (!) that there is so much more going on behind the scenes than we will ever know.  And that they are now looking at unravelling a complex chain of events and rounding up the suspects involved in the whole journey from a to z one by one.
And bringing them to justice!
But as for finding the child.....well I don't feel so sure about this.
