You are not Madeleine McCann's Beloved Family

I initially wrote a version of this post in response to Joana Morais remarking that she hoped the twins wouldn't face childish taunts, etc. from children as children are wont to do. I was blown away by the remark and said she needed to be reminded that Sean and Amelie's PARENTS are MADELEINE'S PARENTS, and she is COMPOUNDING if not CAUSING Sean and Amelie's pain. I wrote this post on PFA2 today to elaborate on the point.

Apparently there are some people all over the Internet who need to be
constantly reminded that Madeleine McCann is a real little girl, with a
real family, and real friends, who attended a real pre-school, where
children and adults there loved her and cared about her; took real swim
lessons with an instructor who knew her, waved hello to her neighbors,
played in the parks around her village, visited the local farm with her
parents, and so and and so forth.

All of these people and countless more knew her, had contacted with her, loved her, or liked her very much.

Tony Bennett, Bren, Joana Morais, Duarte Levy, AmberSuz, etc. are not those people.

They
claim that they are concerned for Madeleine's brother and sister, yet
they seemed to forget that the parents of those two children are
Madeleine's parents, too. And CarlyMichelle or guardian_angel or anyone
else with little fantasies of being Madeleine's mommy - the McCann
children HAVE a mommy, a mommy they adore and paint pictures with and
go to the farm with and idolize. You are not her.

Susan Healy
and her husband,along with Gerry McCann's mother, are Madeleine's
grandparents, who cuddled with her in bed in the morning, read her
stories, gave her soccer shirts and celebrated her birthdays. Not you -
they never would have said on national radio that they could see
themselves tossing herself off a cliff in certain circumstances.

John
McCann and his wife have children who dearly miss their tiny cousin and
no doubt are upset often about what could have happened to her, who she
is with, if she is alive. All the while they have to deal with their
own fears for their little niece and their worries about Kate and Gerry
and coping with Madeleine's abduction. Plus, they miss her too. Not you
- you're too busy photoshopping pictures of their very real grief for
your own funnies.

Madeleine was Philomena McCann's precious
little niece, the beloved and desired child of her own little brother;
the child Philomena played with and sent gifts to and attended birthday
parties for - not yours. You neglect any families or nieces you have to
pontificate on the internet about other people's children, other
people's loved ones, to set out to cause them more grief and pain.

They are the ones who seek justice for the little girl that they knew and they dearly long to know again.

NOT YOU.

It is their stomachs that turn at the very thought of what might have happened or is happening to the little girl that they knew,
whose face is not known to them from photos to put out to find her,
whose voice is not known to them by a video seeking to appeal to people
to find her.

It is their hearts that ache at the knowledge
that Gerry and Kate McCann mistakenly thought Madeleine would be safe,
and bleed knowing that mistake cannot be undone.

It is their wills that have to be strong lest Madeleine's case go by the wayside, lest her parents despair and give up hope.

NOT YOU.

They
are the ones that had hopes and dreams for her, who couldn't wait for
her to grow up and see what she would become, who planned on welcoming
her back from vacation to celebrate her birthday, who thought about her
graduation from college, kindergarten, her first date, her next cute
child's observation, and who have had all those things ripped away into
an abyss of nothing...nothing...for more than two years.

NOT YOU.

I know where you are coming from blue. These sickos seem to be laying some kind of a claim on Madeleine, as if she is their property and they are the only ones caring for her. How gross. They are the ones trying to destroy her oarents......it is all too sick.

Thanks for this post Blu. You have managed to put into words what we all feel and has been in all of our minds for a very long time. Madeleine is in all of our hearts, but as you say nothing we feel can possibly amount to the grief and sorrow that Kate and Gerry feel for their precious little girl. All we can do is help them in whatever way we can to find her, and bring her home.

Its time the likes of bennett et al stopped using Madeleines name they have no interest in where she is or whats happened to her imo.
She is of no real interest to them and im sad to say if she turned up tomorrow I have no doubt it would be the biggest disappointment going in certain forums.
So for pitys sake stop persecuting this family and concentrate on your own!!

They don't have any interest in her. And their personal pleas about her are ridiculous - they don't know her! They are not true child activists or abuse activists - because if they were they would know this case IS NOT IT. They have turned Madeleine into a one dimensional stick to beat her parents with. Their hope, dream, and goal for this case is for Kate to have a nervous breakdown and confess, and they aim to put enough pressure on her to make their dream a reality.

That is SICK. And it has NOTHING to do with Madeleine. It has everything to do with bringing her parents to their knees regardless of the truth they are allegedly after.

Look at what they said when Jaycee was found - abject disappointment followed by well that doesn't mean the stepfather wasn't involved....because he had been a MOMENTARY suspect.

Again, that is SICK.
