A GROUP who accuse Kate and Gerry McCann of child neglect are giving them more grief - with a summit near their home.
They have invited the bungling Portuguese cop who claimed the couple were involved in daughter Madeleine's disappearance to be a VIP guest.

Founder Tony Bennett yesterday denied trying to upset the McCanns by picking a venue next month just seven miles from their home in Rothley, Leics.

His "Madeleine Foundation" blames the pair for leaving Maddie alone when she vanished aged three on holiday in Praia de Luz in 2007.

The anguished McCanns, both doctors aged 41, today fly back to Portugal in a £1million libel fight against sacked cop Goncalo Amaral, 54.

Mr Bennett said: "If he emerges victorious there will be an atmosphere of celebration in the camp."

Amaral wont be at this hatefest "summit" as he never had any intention of attending. After all, how ridiculous would he look if he turned up to the "summit" to be greeted by 5 people, some of those members of the BNP. Nope, he wont touch it with a 10 foot barge pole.

But I suppose if he is in gaol, then Bennett can go on pretending that Amaral would have attended if he hadnt been a victim of the Portuguese judicial system, unfairly dealt with, miscarriage of justice and all that, as well as that terrible British government ,who obviously are so powerful they can influence the judicial system in Portugal.

I personally cant see amaral making it either, whether he is behind bars or not, this is tb living his dream, hoping amongst hope that he can increase his traffic to his agm meeting (reminder here this is a MISSING CHILD) not the tb roadshow!

AMARAL LIBELLED BY BBC AND MANY OTHER MEDIA

Today it has become clear that BBC TV East Midlands lied when they broke the story that Goncalo Amaral had said 'F___ the McCanns'.

In fact, he said: 'Não, força aos McCanns', which translates as 'No. Good luck to the McCanns'.

We have been in touch today with BBC East Midlands, the BBC, the Mirror and the Sun and other newspapers in an effort to ensure that they apologise for ths serious slur on Goncalo Amaral.

We are getting hints that there may be an apology; we shall soon see.

Our letter which has of course been copied to OFCOM and the Press Complaints Commision is below.

Kate McCann was addressing reporters as it emerged that Amaral allegedly responded "F**k the McCanns" when he was asked by a BBC reporter this week whether his claims about their daughter's fate might be hurting the couple.
The comment was reportedly "bleeped out" when the exchange was broadcast in the East Midlands region where the McCanns have their home.
Amaral has denied the outburst, claiming he had not even spoken to a British TV crew. But a BBC spokesman confirmed that Amaral had used "inappropriate language".

From what I saw, I would be surprised if Amaral had been misqouted, the reporter didnt just print what he thought he had heard, he actually had it checked out and verified by others.

The BBC reporter and the crew are pretty certain of what they heard, otherwise they wouldnt have broadcast it. They were clearly shocked by it.

Bennett aint helping Amaral at all. Making up stuff like this, really isnt helping, it isnt spin, its just rubbish, and making the lot of them look like fools.
