My friends, today at Jornal de Notícias (newspaper news):

Kate and Gerry McCann rejected today that the injunction prohibiting the sale of the book "Maddie - the truth of lie"from the authorship of former PJ inspector Gonçalo Amaral is "censorship or undue advantage".

In a statement sent to Lusa agency, the parents of the little British girl Madeleine McCann, missing in the Algarve at 2007, argue that the injunction, which begins to be judged in 12 to 14 January, the 7th Circuit Court Civil Court of Lisbon, is "just the result of balancing freedom of democratic standards and fundamental rights", which, he admits, are subject to the couple and author of the book.

"The interim decision of taking the book already has two judicial labels and can and should be disclosed, for interest to all citizens in the name of freedom of expression, are at risk of being publicly accused for life, after been acquitted by the courts", refer Kate and Gerry.

Freedom of expression and free speech, should not be confused with lies, libel and slander and Amaral is going to learn that lesson!
