Kate and Gerry McCann have issued a fresh appeal for their missing
daughter Madeleine yesterday, as they faced the prospect of spending
their third Christmas without her.In a new message on the Find
Madeleine website, the couple said: ‘There will be a spare place at the
Christmas table again this year.‘If you know anything, do the right thing and helps us fill it.’Doctors Kate and Gerry, both 41, also posted a photograph of Madeleine which was taken during Christmas 2006.It
shows the youngster at the family home in Rothley, Leicestershire, five
months before she went missing from a holiday resort in Praia da Luz,
Portugal.She is pictured sitting on the floor, dressed in red, feeding a chocolate lollipop to her younger sister Amelie.The couple said: ‘There is only one thing Madeleine wants this Christmas – and that’s to be back home.’They urged: ‘If you know where she might be, please help.’The
McCanns, whose youngster daughter and her twin brother Sean are now
four, added: ‘All we want this Christmas if for Madeleine to be home.’

Very well done appeal. Can you imagine this is the thrid Christmas without Madeleine - how heartbreaking that must be for her family...

Clairesy, no problem at all. I thought the appeals were excellent, well done.
I cannot believe that this is the 3rd Christ mas without word of that poor child and Madeleine and her parents and family are being forced to go through this heartbreak yet again.

I do hope the people that are shielding the abductors, or who strongly suspect, or even know who is involved, I just hope that they find the strength deep within themselves to do the right, thing, it is not too late, reunited a child with her family is never too late.
One thing for sure is, these people know who they are and they know they have not had a moments peace of mind since Madeleine was taken and they now know it is not going to go away, it is over two and a half years since Madeleine was abducted, they must now realise that we and this is never going to go away until Madeleine is found, they are just postponing the inevitable.

I can only reiterate what everyone else has said.

To the person who knows the whereabouts of Madeleine, you know what you have to do, please pick up the phone and let this little girl come home.

Just one phone call is all it will take, imagine the weight that will come off your shoulders, you wont have to carry this heavy burden anymore. You know Madeleine should be with her family. Your call is long overdue but you can do it, end this nightmare now. Please, if not for the parents, look into your heart and do it for Madeleine.

The parents of Madeleine McCann have renewed their appeal for help in finding their daughter as they face a third Christmas without her.

New images of Madeleine have been released as part of the appeal

Kate and Gerry McCann also posted new pictures of the little girl showing her smiling and feeding a chocolate lollipop to her younger sister Amelie.
The couple said: "Christmas is a time for children. Please help us bring ours back."
In a series of messages greeting visitors to their Find Madeleine website, the McCanns added: "There will be a spare place at the Christmas table again this year

"If you know anything - do the right thing and help us fill it.
"There's only one thing Madeleine wants this Christmas - and that's to be back home.
"If you know where she might be, please help."

McCanns urged people to help

Madeleine was three years old when she disappeared from her family's holiday apartment in Portugal, while her parents dined close by with friends.
Earlier this month the couple, both 41, from Rothley, Leicestershire, travelled to the Praia da Luzresort on the Algarve coast, after a libel case they were due to attend in Lisbon was postponed.
It was the first time they had been back to the village together since Madeleine went missing from the Ocean Club holiday complex in 2007.
Mrs McCann wrote on the Find Madeleine website: "I have longed to come back here for two years for personal and emotional reasons.
"Although our pain feels much rawer here, it is comforting at the same time since we feel closer to Madeleine."
