Well, from my side, I got the 'jobby' bit while for the 'hedgehog' it is true, I haven't a clue as well as for 'wally wecker'.

Right, there is a bookshop in Lisbon who is run by the British Council, I think, I promise I'll go there and search. If I find one, I'll buy it.

Ahhh, a jobby is what i thought it was, but we wouldnt call it a jobby, we would say 'done the job'. As for a hedgehog, I have never heard it called that, although we have the saying, like passing a pine cone (cleaned it up a bit for you sensitive types), which is basically the same thing.

And Maria, a 'wally wacker' is someone who is an idiot and a wanker (very appropriate in a number of cases). I learnt that saying from a lovely lady I used to work with, who previously was in the army. She had a heap of good sayings.

Maria I've found the Urban Dictionary very helpful sometimes.
www.urbandictionary.com

As a Dutchy I don't know all these words either.
But I do know French and the meaning of merde.
And I think TB, Stevo and their little gang don't realise how deep they are into that.

I didn't know you were Dutch Cath! I see now that it's on your avatar thingy. I need to pay more attention.

Are you very tall? Practically every Dutch person I have met has been very tall. Someone told me you have the tallest nation in the world but I don't know if that's true.

Having said this, everyone is tall to me :-)
