INVITATION TO A MEETING ON SATURDAY 1 AUGUST TO DISCUSS MADELEINE

Myself,
Debbie Butler ('doris'), Madeleine Foundation Chairman, and David
Kastoryano (who used to post here as 'thentherewere4)' would like to
invite all those who are sure that Madeleine was not abducted and who
are striving in one way or another for the truth about what really
happened to Madeleine McCann to an informal meeting on Saturday 1
August.

The meeting will probably be in or near Harlow, and we
will provide lunch for people at our expense. Harlow is just 5 miles
from the M25 and 45 minutes by train from Liverpool Street, London.

We intend to book a venue from around 11.00am to 5.00pm but people will be welcome to drop by any time during the day.

The
purpose of the meeting can be summarised as to bring together in an
informal setting those who are actively pursuing the truth about
Madeleine (especially 3As members) and who wish to exchange
information, opinions and ideas on what happened to Madeleine and how,
together, we can achieve justice for her.

We don't plan speeches or formal discussion, it is more about networking and informal brainstorming.

will then, privately, give you the location of the meeting which will
NOT be advertised on the forum. It has not been finalised yet anyay as
it depends on how many intend to come.

I really am getting annoyed with this man now, he needs putting in his place. Bennett is like a sick dog with a bone, he won't let go of his evil assumptions, and he is enticing others to join him at this meeting by bribing them with a free lunch. With this offer he will get people attending who don't even have an opinion about the McCanns and their so called treatment of Madeleine. Surely something can be done to stop this continual harrassment of the McCanns. I am sure that the lawyers who act on their behalf could get a court injunction to stop this meeting being held. To say that the content will be slanderous is an understatement. I will send a letter together with a copy of this invitation to the Leicestershire police and to Brian Kennedy's inhouse lawyer. It would be useful to know where the meeting is going to be held.

What sort of moron holds public meetings to attack an innocent couple who have had their daughter abducted?

This meeting is a self serving exercise that can achieve nothing positive for anyone. It is just a hate fest, and anyone thinking of attending must be aware that they are only contributing to the hate fest.

Actually, not sure an injunction is worthwhile. Meeting is not much of a success if only 5 people turn up, and I doubt they will get that many. Bennett probably wants the injunction to generate a bit of publicity. After all, all his other plans concerning the McCanns have gone no where fast.

I wonder if he is feeling sore and insecure, because of recent events with Amaral and wonders if he is losing out some.

I agree with you Jean, it is the principle of the thing! What kind of person does hold a meeting like this? I think he needs stopping too. In my opinion Bennett is definitely vexatious.
Did you realise that in the UK anyone can apply to our attorney general to have someone declared a vexatious litigant and that the applicant does NOT have to go through the courts to do this?
There has been a couple of applications, someone from here applied and they got a reply which seemed to state that the AG was already aware of the situation and was looking into it.
Perhaps it is time to as the AG what became of that? Because if anything Bennett is getting worse.

I understand exactly what you are saying here and this is serious and surely this cannot be allowed to continue? In my opinion this disgraced former solicitor who has already been fined and officially reprimanded by the Law Society, for bringing his former profession into disrepute and acting in a manner unbecoming to his profession, IS stalking and harassing the McCanns.

He turns up everywhere they go, he was even filmed on TV sitting directly behind Gerry McCann, when Gerry appeared in front of that MPs select committee!
How much longer is this weird and intimidating behaviour going to be tolerated?
