Re-energising the search for Madeleine
EVERTON FANS IN MADELEINE CAMPAIGN
By John Fahey, Press Association
Bill Kenwright - deeply saddened.
An international campaign has been launched to "re-energise" the search for missing Madeleine McCann.
Everton Football Club moved to highlight the cause as the team travels to Portugal - where the youngster vanished two years ago while on a family holiday in Praia de Luz.
The Premier League club face Benfica on Thursday in a Europa League match and have commissioned 6,000 T-shirts they want fans to wear bearing the message 'We're Still Looking For You'.
Three thousand shirts bear the message in English with the other half in Portuguese.
One of the first images released by Madeleine's parents, Kate and Gerry, in the wake of their daughter's disappearance 29 months ago showed the then four-year-old proudly wearing an Everton shirt.
Everton chairman Bill Kenwright said: "I will never, ever forget that image of a beautiful, smiling child in an Everton shirt.
"I believe that I was one of the first people outside the family to see it and it moved me greatly. In truth, like everyone else, I have felt nothing but deep sadness and mounting frustration as the search for Maddie has continued.
"However, I continue to be inspired by the dignity and the faith which Kate and Gerry have displayed throughout their dreadful ordeal.
"This is just our way of reminding people - not just in the UK and Portugal but across the globe - that this child is still out there somewhere.
"If we can, perhaps, jog someone's memory or breathe a little fresh life into the hunt for her then it will have been worth it.
"I know our supporters will wear these T-shirts with pride on Thursday night."
Club manager David Moyes added: "My heart went out to Madeleine's family when this awful tragedy occurred - and it still does.
"It is absolutely vital that the hunt for this lovely little girl continues. People do sometimes forget that football managers and footballers are also dads - family comes first.
"Everyone connected with Everton Football Club simply wishes to see Madeleine reunited with her family."
Travellers to Lisbon wishing to show their support can collect a T-shirt from Goodison Park on Tuesday and Wednesday and from Liverpool Airport by showing a match ticket or travel documents.

Re: Re-energising the search for Madeleine
I will be cheering on Everton in this match! I hope demand for these T-shirts outstrips supply, to show baldie the truth, that the public don't believe one word of his lies.
By the way, it is also on VM news, and the halwits are spamming it already.

Clarence Mitchell, speaking on behalf of the McCanns, said: "Everton have been fantastically supportive of the search for Madeleine and have done everything they can to keep awareness of Madeleine very high.
"Kate and Gerry are especially grateful to them for this renewed push around the Benfica game.
"It is vitally important that people in Portugal are kept fully informed and fully aware that the search continues and the answer could still lie in Portugal itself."

Re: Re-energising the search for Madeleine
Well done Everton.
Vee it doesn't surprise me what the sickos are doing, they do not want to search for Madeleine, they prefer to sit around writing filthy posts all day and they do not want to anyone to search for her in case she is found, because if she is found this means they would not have their filthy dirty little pastimes anymore.
Bennett, Butler and Stevo, the whole filthy lot of them get off on all of this. Look at the post on the blog, see what filthy paedophiles they are!

Re: Re-energising the search for Madeleine
During the 8 o'clock news (prime time) SIC tv station gave the news about Everton's initiative tomorrow. They referred this was (the first) action to reenergise the hunt for Madeleine. No stupid comments, which is an EXCELLENT sign

Re: Re-energising the search for Madeleine
I don't understand why the pitchforkers get so worked upi about OTHER people believing the McCanns and OTHER people helping search for Madeleine.
If, after the McCanns were made arguidos and after seeing all the "evidence" against them, individuals believe the McCanns are not guilty and Madeleine was not abducted, it's our funeral, so to speak.
I laughed writing evidence.

Sky news have updated their article. The story is the same, but they have new pictures of the T-shirts.

Maybe we should hold a meeting, at a venue to be publicised at a later date! Strictly for those posters who do not believe bennett's version of events!

What like a "konference" you mean?
Who could we invite for our guest speaker who also believe that Madeleine was abducted? Richard Branson? Brian Kennedy? Lorraine Kelly? Richard and Judy? Any number of MPs ? John Stalker? Sir Iain Blair? Professor David Cantor? Mark Williams-Thomas? Various top child abduction experts? Top Portuguese prosecution lawyers? The Portuguese Attorney General? Carter-Ruck Adam Tudor? The list goes on and on and on.
Remind me agian who Bennett and Butler have as their guest speaker? Oh I know one disgraced former detective, convicted criminal proven liar and perjurer - Goncalo Amaral and no one else. Oops I believe he may be having some difficulty scraping together the airfairs though!
Still I suppose if the Amarals can't afford to cattend their "Konference" they could always ask convicted predatory paedophile Raymond [not dead yet] Hewlett? They are all rather fond of him, referring to him affectionately as the, "poor old dying paedo", while bigging him up and extolling his virtues and praising him for doing his time! (Completely and utterly forgetting his poor family who have been put through hell and his victims, they did not get a consideration) Hell but those people have some distorted beliefs!
