Missing Children

I have been asked to pass this around the Forums..........

The number of international abductions still seems to be on the increase.

Even if a child is taken to a Hague Convention country in parental abductions, nothing can be done until the child and the abducting parent is located. And this is often like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Two dads currently dealing with International Parental Abduction are Stephen Watkins and Ken Thompson. They are trying to find three little boys who could be anywhere in Europe. That's an enormous task, and resources are limited.

That's when they got the idea of asking a social networking site to help them, and the parents of all missing children, by raising the profile of those missing.

Sorry for the duplicate post as I already put this on PFA2 - but you should check out the story of Sean Goldman. Kidnapped by his mother, whom Brazil then granted a unilaterally divorce. She marries into a powerful family of international family law lawyers. The father fights them all the way. Mother dies in childbirth - family begins smear campaign against the Father even though judicial secrecy is allegedly in place - sound familiar yet? - and even though multiple Brazilian courts have ruled Sean should return to his father, the family pulls strings with strange political parties and gets it delayed, etc.
