I wonder what the bottom feeders make of this latest appeal? I don't suppose for one minute it occurs to them that this would be damn strange actions for a family with something to hide? That they would be better off keeping their mouths shut, in case someone in Praia da Luz actually saw them bury Madeleine? Nope, that thought would never enter their tiny minds.

My thoughts exactly Vee! This I feel is behind those two cruel posts that are on our blog! Those two cretins know very well that Madeleine was abducted, instead of doing the decent thing and admitting their cruel, vicious and vindictive errors, they add insult to injury and try and actually plan to IMPEDE Madeleine's parents search by saying they will organise and mobilise a pack of witch hunters and issue threats should the McCanns ever return to the Algarve!

If I were Portuguese I would be furious with these extreme right wing idiots, they are Portugal's equivalent to the NF!

I just say this: I´m really furious with those morons, know this, WE WILL NEVER STOP OUR SEARCH UNTIL WE FIND HER, sweet Madeleine was abducted, she is somewhere out there, she can be found, she will be found.

The media will have a very good time indeed.

First of all, they need a special authorization from the district's government if they want to launch posters or make any public initiative, and I'll make sure to contest that on behalf of public order and propriety;

Second I'll make sure that all the Luz and Portimão's people that booed them after they came out of their arguidos's interview are alert to their presence - I bet they will think about something more creative for the reception;

Third, the people of Luz will not be so tolerant with the British Media after the way they portrayed the portuguese for the last year.


I am afraid this is far more serious than a simple outbreak of racism. It shows, beyond any doubt, that the 3a's, or at least some of the posters, are shielding Madeleine's abductors. Luz is clearly terrified of the truth coming out, and the McCann's new drive has clearly touched a nerve. There can be NO legitimate reason for Luz's actions, unless Luz has something to hide.

Obstructing the investigation into a missing person is a crime, in any country.

What is it, Luz? What are you hiding? Who are you protecting? That thread, if it is still up, and a screenshot needs to be sent to Leicestershire police, NOW, with an urgent appeal to thouroughly investigate not only Luz's involvment in Madeleine's abduction, but the whole of the 3a's site. Only then can we begin to see the start of some sort of justice for Madeleine and ALL the McCann's.

What a splendid post, Vee. How right you are. There has been such vilification and almost certainly it has been orchestrated by paedophiles/traffickers, probably in PdL. What disgusting people there are around!

Yes, I think the Police should be informed, although it will be difficult for them to do anything in a different country.

Agree, Vee and Sadie. What I watched yesterday on the evening news are the exact reverse of this Luz mental diarroeha: posters were in place, people in small commerce willingly putting up the stckers in theirs shops, talking nicely to the tv although not very hopeful, at least helpful.

FYI we have had some episodes like this 'predicted' by Luz about other subjects: for instance, an anonymous complained to the police about a book in a book fair and without delay the police went there and took the book away. They had to retract publicly and return the book to the fair. In another case, during Carnival preparations, the district governor ordered the removal of some pictures from a pc screen caricature as 'pornographic'. The organisers did so, but put the stick 'censored' instead, in no time the order was taken back.

Luz in no way represents a meaningful part of portuguese people, as minor as it can be. I tend to agree with you, it is surely trying to protect someone, I can see no other reason for such a hate and bile display.

What really gets to me is that these people think nothing of impeding the search for a missing child, what did Madeleine ever do to them?

It is not the first time that I have read racist comments from these two and one of them in particular is guilty of making a whole string of them, she obviously hates all British and she can barely disguise her hatred and then the dolts over there all bump her up, as she is stabbing them in their backs.

It seems most of the posters of this missing child were damaged or defaced. What person in their right mind would vandalise the poster of a missing child? What sort of person would admit to planning to do it on a website? I’ve studied abnormal psychology. I’ve studied deviance. I’ve studied psychopathology….yet I can offer no explanation or reason for such an evil act.

A step too far, arsewipes. I will now do anything it takes to bring you down. You have now proven, BEYOND DOUBT, that you fully support child abduction, and are covering for the abductor. It is perfectly clear now the actual abductor themselves is a member, and using the 3arsewipes to cover for themselves. I will make sure ALL the relevant authorities know my thoughts, and you WILL be held to account. There is NO legitimate reason for ripping down posters of a missing child, unless you are protecting the guilty.

After spending a short while surfing, it seems the whole of the internet world has risen with righteous fury at this latest turn of events, and everyone and their aunt is now contacting newspapers, police forces and MP's, in a coordinated attempt to take down the 3arses once and for all. Seems like I am just one voice among many.

As a bystander, and not being either British or Portuguese, I just want to reassure you that I do not believe for one minute that these ratbags represent the majority of the Portuguese people.

Any reasonable person would realise that it would be better for Portugal to find the truth of the 'Mystery of Madeleine McCann' and that the information resulting from this campaign may solve that mystery. Particularly if the PJ are part of solving the mystery.

Pedro, I believe that most people in Portugal just want to know the truth of what happened. And these 'vandals' are a very very small minority who for reasons of their own are hampering the search for a missing child.

I must admit, I was flying round the ceiling when I first read these posts.

I am shocked that these people are now taking their aggression out on dear Madeleine, she is the true innocent in all of this.

One thing I naively thought was be it pro or anti, we all had a common interest in finding out what happened to Madeleine. Obviously for some it isn't.

There is no need to apologise for that scum Pedro, we all suffer with the problem of mob mentality.

Now I have calmed down a little, I am sure the good people of Portugal will respond in the positive just like they did on the night Madeleine first disappeared.

I decided to change this first paragraph of my post as I felt it was as insulting to the Brits as these marginals from Correio da Manhã, 3as, Joana Morais are being to my own people. Because more than attacking the parents, these people are distorting the true feelings of portuguese people, and that's insulting to us as well. I've seen and read support and compassion coming from portuguese people everywhere in the country, specially in PdL.

Yes Vee and everybody else who know how to do it, please make sure they are, not brought down, but brought to justice.

Don´t worry my friends, I don´t feel responsible for those actions, it just upsetted me a lot. I´m much more calm now.

Every country has its own bad apples...but thankfully they are in the minority. Portugal is no different to the UK in this respect.....and we have to treat these odd bad apples with total disrespect, which is what they deserve. It appears that Luz is having second thoughts about what she/he wrote...either that or she/he is running scared due to the complaints being submitted to all and sundry.
