Spanish police uncovered a net of child porn. Several people were arrested. This finding was merely coincidental. It was triggered by an anonymous call... to a phone number set up by the police to look for Madeleine. The caller said that she was on a video and that lead to the group. Madeleine wasn't in any photos or videos.

So, Spain is still looking for her.

(in spite of any portuguese investigation shelving or portuguese investigator's opinion or portuguese newbie author)

Despite the evil internet sites, the scuzzy tabloids with their dreary reporting of z-listers vacuous lives .. there are serious police investigations going on .. successful raids against criminals have been happening a lot lately .. children are being rescued and networks being shut down. Good News doesn't get enough coverage and sadly it is not what many people want to hear. Doesn't sell does it.

Anyway this news is great to hear. There is hope.
