In his book of jokes, bennett repeats one of the very earliest of anti-McCann myths, that Kate and Gerry, in an attempt to 'Cash in' on their daughter's disapearance, Trademarked her unusual eye defect. I have stated, on many occasions, that you cannot Trademark a body part, but yesterday, just to confirm this, I went onto the official Trademark website, contacted them, and asked them if it was indeed possible. I got the following e-mail back today.
