Madeleine flat is up for sale??
Seems I owe you all an apology???
The flat is for sale.I thought ruth mccann sold the flat months ago,It was reported the flat had sold for a very cheap price. Some said it was becasue of the circumstances surrounding the apartment. Maybe ruth declined to seLl at such a cheap price then??
Not sure but anyway.....................the way that ANORAK is reporting this news is sickening.
The headline reads.
'BUY THE MADDIE FLAT AND THE VILLA, FOR THE MADDIE EXPERIENCE.'
What a sick way to advertise this. Maybe they would like to just take the childs place.Im sure she would swop with anyone.
No amount of money is going to enable a person to experience what as happened here. This is a terrible way to advertise something.Im sorry but i might sound like a di#ck head, but imo some people are just vile. Getting a Corney headline from someone else's pain??Making the whole thing sound like some sort of blo#dy drama from tv....madeleine being the famous person that everyone wants to get a piece of. ...oh 'buy the flat and apartment and get the maddie experience'???Well imo maybe the editor of this site would like to experience the whole thing single handedly.Maybe he/she would be a little more careful of what words they use to report things.
Im really angry at that headline. Its not a tv show its real life. This child as been abducted and put through hell. Its not something I feel should be treated lightheartedly. Is t just me or does this headline strike you as insensitive? I think its a disgrace.....its being treated as some sort of experience people would want to snap up. Undermining and imo mocking the terrible situation this family are in. Can you imagine having something that you have experienced through advertised in such a fashion...like its the new dvd out on the market? The first thing that jumped out at me when i read that headline was how the mccanns and Madeleine would feel if they read it. How they must be thinking their lives have been turned into an event....how their feelings and lives have been pushed aside in favour of getting the best headline out their to sell a story.
Sad.
Im sorry for madeleine and her family. My heart goes out to them.
God bless you madeleine

Yes Clairesay this was reported last year on the news that the flat was sold for something like £75.000 under priced due to the terrible circumstances. Perhaps it’s up for sale again?
As for the mocking etc. there are people that are just sick in the head big time and what goes around comes around.
Like you my heart goes out to Maddie and her parents and extended family who are all suffering.

Re: Madeleine flat is up for sale??
I understood the flat was marketed for sale last year too - did not read anything about it actually being sold, but assumed it had been. Thinking about it though, the pj and their joke of an investigation could have scuppered any potential sale - afterall, it was a crime scene, then it was not a crime scene, then it was a crime scene (in between lettings to other families) Surely any potential buyer/investor, would want to occupy or let the property and with the lack of an assurance that they had vacant possession without hindrance, it would be somewhat offputting to say the least. I cannot imagine the pj giving any such assurance to any potential purchaser.
The current owners had a nice little earner from the News of the World with the photo shoot of the apartment, so that would have compensated them somewhat for being messed about by the pj with the on off crime scene.
The following link appears to confirm that the apartment is still owned by the same people that owned it at the time of Madeleines' abduction:-
