Im sad to hear that the woman exposed as a troll by Skynews has taken her own life.

I have read a few comments on a few articles about it and was not surprised to hear that many people think that she was hounded to her death. No, she was not hounded, she was exposed.

Free speech means you can say many things that are offensive to people. However, free speech also means you will be criticised for giving offense and you can be exposed.

It seems that our long held thoughts that most of these trolls (although not all) only do it because they think they anonymous, appears to be correct.

Publishing the identity of trolls would certainly curtail most of them. Although, clearly not all, as there are some who troll/stalk/harrass using their own names. We have all come across them before.
