That letter was vile, Catkins. And what business was it of hers anyway. Can you imagine a British Police Officer's wife writing such a letter during an ongoing investigation?

What a piece of work he is. And as for Sofia, yes, that letter to Kate about sums up what sort of woman she is.

The mind boggles that a police officer would be allowed to work after defrauding his brother out of those funds. The question is, why were no charges laid. Here is good old Oz, the police would be involved first, with fraud charges laid (or obtaining money by deception), and then civil action taken to recover the damages.

Such dishonest behaviour would not be appropriate for a police officer here, or so I thought, and I would be surprised if they retained their job.

But then I looked up what happens here and found this.

So apparently even here, being convicted of a serious crime doesnt mean a policeman is dismissed from his job. SO what hope of action being taken in the PJ.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if he finishes up in Prison before much longer.
