.Stalking, Hounding, Vitriolic Bile. Where Will You Find It....On Missing Children's Sites, Social Networks Like Twitter And Facebook And Personal Blogs.
It would be would be wrong of me to say all suffer at the hands of the vitriolic Demons on the Internet. However, if your name is McCann or you have any association with the name McCann regardless of how remote that connection may be......you're done.

You, will receive threats your home will be Firebombed, your children kidnapped and raped, and your employers informed you are some sort of deviant where children are concerned.

What puzzles me is, the victims being attacked appear to accept it and punish themselves by leaving the Internet. No retribution for the attacker, plenty for the victim. Makes sense to some, I suppose.....not to me.

The filth who do the attacking, well that may surprise you. They are teachers, University lecturers, Accountants, Ex Solicitors and brain dead cretins.....(the latter morons, you expect it from them, they were born idiots and will die idiots)
Where am I going with this, well, people know who these fools are and protect them. Some through fear, but most because they think by ignoring brain deprived fools, they will leave them alone.

That may very well be true.....but, by ignoring them, you are allowing the bully to continue on to his/her next victim and a vicious circle begins. Pretty soon the Internet is no longer a place to socialize and learn, but a place to hate and fear.

There is, a law to protect people from the scourge of the Internet but, it is only effective if people use it. Sadly, the victims think it is too much trouble to make a simple statement to someone in authority....allowing the bully to gain more power over his/her victims.
Naming and shaming the bully is a start. Contrary to what some people believe it is not against the law to name the bully. However you must be sure you have the right one.

This is where the law is effective. The moment you report to them and show the threats, they contact the host and both host and law enforcement begin to monitor the bullies. Social Networks hate the Cretins too and will do everything in their power to assist the police.
Don't bury your head in the sand, do not allow the bully to find another victim..... Report the tormentors to the authorities, because, you just never know when that bully will move from the Internet to your front door!

I think Tony is correct, and that these stalkers, bullies etc need to face the full extent of the law, and that will only happen if they are reported.

However, if it were as easy as Tony says, then those that have demonised the McCanns for the last three years would have been dealt with. Their stalking has crossed from the internet into real life on many occasions, and yet they still are roaming around free looking for other opportunites to continue their harrassment.

And harrassment is what it is. Harrassment by sick, twisted harpies who do it for a variety of reasons, and none of the reasons even remotely concern justice for Madeleine or children's welfare. The reasons are too varied to mention but all of them are about personal satisfaction for the stalker.

All these stalkers, bullies, those who uses harrassment with the most disgusting blogs, those who spread vile comments / lies, those who tries to jeopardise search for innocent children, should be punished very hard.
