Postponed to September, and may even be cancelled because of appeals/requests filed even before the actual instruction (not trial!) were not looked into and duly decided. These appeals may render the full inquiry/instruction illegal.

Oh no. It really does seem like it's stacked against being able to uncover anything. It's ironic because on one hand, Morais screams about the McCanns protecting their reputation using the defamation actions, but the Portuguese system actually seems to go too far in the other direction- protecting the "privacy" of people at a great public expense.
