You will see why José Cunha Rodrigues got up some bloggers noses, and still is if it is correct he is now one of the new presidents of five-judge chambers.

April 1994 – José Cunha Rodrigues, the chief state prosecutor of Madeira, discovers a microphone under his floorboards, prompting a government investigation. The prosecutor alleges that the Portuguese Security and Information Service (Serviço de Informações de Segurança-SIS), the intelligence agency for the nation, had been investigating his private life and had been prying into the affairs of other government officials as well.

Cunha Rodrigues was PGR in Lisbon, after this episode, I guess. And in his official office, under the floorboards, microphones were discovered, they were investigated and were apparently not functioning. They were removed. No one knows when they were placed there, by whom, etc.

Cunha Rodrigues is the father of the lady Judge who decided on the the book of lies ban.
