Things HOT Up for Bennett and Butler!

We have it (off the record) that the latest action prohibiting Goncalo Amaral from further publication of the book and from speaking or writing about it, is just the first in the line of possible legal moves. It is uncertain at this time if the book is being illegally sold in the UK, however, there are moves afoot that will soon close this loop hole down.

The Madeleine Foundation booklet is 95% based on Amaral's book, the next move must be to go after the Madeleine Foundation, not sure if this will mean Debbie Butler as she is the registered Founder, or both Bennett and Butler. Even though the MF is registered to Debbie Butler, its actual registered business address is Tony Bennett's, if Bennett was hoping to wriggle out of this on another loop hole, I think he may well have just shot himself in the foot.

The McCanns lawyers have been watching and monitoring some web sites, so going after the Foundation is one of the routes they may take. As normal, the legal team will have kept everything to themselves, but are reported to be very pleased, with the way things have gone on the "first stage".

We have been given permission to publish this, but names and credits of quotes have been removed as requested.

AND the Law Society have castigated Bennett for that appalling Madeleine xmas carole and have written to him accordingly!!! Quoted as saying if he reapplies to the Society he will be turned down.

I bet bennett wishes he'd a long time ago!

Rosemary, she should take the flack she's registered as the founder. Bennetts not daft is he? Everything they put up on there, she is responsible for!

And of course, Bennett takes off to Austria - how convenient. Well, Butler has this coming to her and so does Bennett.

I can't wait for them both to get some PAYBACK !!!

Tony Bennett has posted today on the MF website. He replied to an enquiry about purchasing the spanish version of the book.

Yes of course Rosie it is not Amaral´s book. I presumed however that because so much of it is based on Gonc´s that it would come under some similar sort of jurisdiction in UK. "Anything based upon the same thesis" is what I remember reading somewhere along the line. We shall have to wait and see. Complicado.

Well the day is about to begin, the day we have all waited for.
I have always said that TB has covered his backside whilst promoting himself as top dog, the blind sheepies have just followed him like he is some God, but always, he will have covered his tracks so everyone else gets the full blame, whereas he will sink into the background claiming it wasnt his doing!
But....I think C.R. will have all angles covered regarding TB.
His only hope left is to claim diminished responsibility.
I often wonder why he keeps repeating about folk posting about his mental state, is that because its a route he is hoping to take?? Mmmmm.....

I eagerly await the next steps. CR seem to have some decent sort of strategy going on here. It was only fools who failed to see just how capable CR are.

Let me wonder out loud if all members of the Houndation are responsible for what it does. It depends upon what membership consists of. However, regardless of who is in charge, Bennett has written much of what is out there, he has admitted to it on various posts on various forums, and CR have copies of these boasts. He will go down as well, he cannot escape from what he has done. It doesnt matter who is the head of the Houndation, Bennett has admitted to writing the offending material, and I would suggest that he gave the Houndation permission to distribute it.

And Rosemary, I can see where you are coming from, but the judgement was against Amaral and his book/documentary and his thesis. A legal expert would need to see if that also included other people taking up that thesis in an independent manner. And by that I am talking about the injunction only. Because when Amaral goes for libel, so will anyone else publishing the same crap, even if they manage to evade the injunction preventing the sale and distribution of the thesis. IMO it is simply a matter of time.
