My friends, this was taken from Correio da Manhã newspaper:

Criminal investigation: Appointment will be the main novelty
Rebelo leads PJ Lisbon
The return of Paulo Rebelo's leadership directory of Lisbon is the main novelty in the coming years of the Judicial Police, after, in recent times, the top coordinator, one of PJ's historic career with a furrowed for combating drug trafficking, have been away from management positions. The latter, in Portimao, saw the final stretch of the Maddie case investigation.
This is one of the appointments promoted by Almeida Rodrigues, national director, for his second term in PJ. A directory of Lisbon was being directed by an interim Victor Alexander since April 2011, when José Braz retired.
The future director, who will be accompanied by Alfredo Esberard as Deputy Director - placed far as liaison officer in PJ Security Coordination Office (GCS) - will be a major task to ensure generational transition and meet the outputs of multiple frames Historically, the reform in the key areas of homicide, robbery or fire.
The aim will be to maintain high levels of efficiency - what has been achieved so far by Victor Alexander, another historic career marked by combating banditry, which will take office in PJ with the GCS.
Verissimo Milhazes and Mariana Raimundo, coordinator of homicides so far in Lisbon and responsible in the School of PJ, respectively, will assume the directions of the units of Criminal Investigation Information and Financial Information.
In Leiria, António Sintra takes the lead, even here in drugs; Sá Teixeira leaves Leiria to number 2, Maria Alice Fernandes in Setúbal, and Gil Carvalho, who stood out in Porto fighting violent crime, will assume the department in Guarda.

Re: Rebelo leads PJ Lisbon
Pedro, do you think this is a good or bad thing?
I always thought Rebelo was honest, although did a few things that made me question his judgement during the latter stages of the McCann investigation. I always felt though that he was there to clean up the big mess that Fatboy left behind.
