I wonder if, due to the undeniable fact that amaral did nothing to prevent Leonor Cipriano being tortured, he also assisted it, the same can be proved about her brother, which could lead gonçalo amaral to be sent to jail for a very long time, which includes also those who participated.

I believe that the same happened to Leonor's brother. It is a pity that he doesn't get the same attention.
But whatever way you look at it, ALL of the PJ Officers on duty that night and day are guilty of lying.
