I shall do this tomorrow and ask what the new man in charge of Portimao (?) is doing about instigating the opening of the search for Madeleine.

I wish I could be as confident as he is that his department will not experience cuts, these cuts are being made in places where they should never be made, even to the smallest of budgets in the smallest of departments. It is totally ridiculous and children and people are going to suffer. However, at least we have a small victory this morning, we forced the government into a U turn on their intention to once again resurrect Margaret Thatcher and cut off milk to nursery children, we made them stop with a pressure campaign, just shows you what you can do if you keep trying and no brain Willets was acutely embarrassed on national TV this morning when the U turn was announced, seems his own government used him and his embarrassment to get their message out, why wasn't he told before going on air? We all knew this was going to happen well before that programme.

So well done Jean, keep pressurising. I know I am not going to stop pressurising until something is done about Madeleine!
