So Bennett wants a public enquiry! Oh well he couldn't want anything better now could he? I imagine this will include and enquiry into Gonc's "Investigation".

I see he hasn't signed it though, but Rosemary and Derek Bennett have crawled out the wood work again, to sign.

We all know what kind of public enquiry TB wants: based on the GA´s unproven theory. No way TB, thanks, but no thanks.

A full public inquiry will include the methods used by the PJ in the investigation, Amaral's involvement, his conviction regarding the Leonore case etc etc. It will not be the witch hunt against the McCanns that Bennett wants. The things he keeps seeing as evidence, (for eg, not answering the 48 questions or the woofing of the dogs) are not evidence. It is not the McCanns that will be put in a bad light. Also, any inquiry would be held by experts, with only experts submitting evidence, and Bennett and his cronies do not even come close. Unfounded accusations (ie libel) are not allowed in public inquiries.


A full public inquiry will not raise anything against the McCanns, beyond that they should not have left the children alone. So I fail to understand why Bennett would want such a thing. All the experts (the McCann investigators, the Leic police, Brad Garrett from the FBI, the AFP, and many others) including the Portuguese Prosecutors, say there is no evidence that the McCanns committed any crime. So just what does he think an inquiry will bring.

Way before an inquiry should be undertaken, a full review of the case needs to be done by British police who specialise in cold cases, and crimes against children, including abduction.

bennett wants a inquiry that will not involve the cock up of amaral and the pj, but one which will convict G & K of a crime they didnt commit.
Until bennett gets that (which will be never by the way) he wont go away or shut up.
The only time this guy will shut up is when he has drawn his last breath, which I think the stress of this case will help him along the way.
He ought to realise it and realise it quick, Madeleine was taken and is still being searched for. He is preventing her being found ...why??
Nobody but bennett and a few others may know why!
But, in the end, bennett and his idiot followers will be the losers in all this.

Pedro and Peaceful.....the only public enquiry that TB wants is just one that will convict the McCanns. Nothing more and nothing less. Like you said Pedro "thanks but no thanks".
