Anything that helps with the safety of children is worth its weight in gold, and priceless if a child goes missing. It is like the way the police track groomers and perverts very well indeed. These people think they are clever till they try to meet up, and find police waiting for them instead.

First of all: this device can show everyone a photo with all the data, without the need of being attached to a computer. With a pen or cd, you have to have a computer with you, so, from this point of view (which is a positive one) it´s much easier, more efficient to use then a pen or cd. You know what I mean, because when I look a the first photo, inside the link Mod wrote here, it´s not attached to a computer (although can also be used with a computer) which is a good thing to be used in holidays or in any other situation, where people don´t have with them portable computers.

It sounds good, but I must admit I have my doubts about the safety of that server as well. Too many hackers, too many bad people with money.
And if that company's got employees, they should be checked also.

Look Alex, with all do respect, consider this: if we do not fight to improve things right, the world will be much worse than it is, if we sit back and stop at the first sign of adversity, every technology, all the mankind´s achievements would not be possible if, those who fought hard, if those who created it, stopped at the first sign of adversity, if we sit back and do nothing to try to change it for the better (although it´s not easy, but can be done) then, what is the real purpose of human existence? This is my opinion.
