Kate's dream about Madeleine
Joanypony.
The fact that Amaral was going to charge Kate with Madeleine's murder on the strength of a dream shows what an incompetent, blundering idiot he is. He had absolutely no idea how to conduct a proper investigation, so it was complete laziness that made him blame it on the parent/s. Does he not realise that no one can control what they dream about and the fact that Kate had that dream shows how things were circulating in her mind at the time, the possibility that Madeleine might have been murdered being a major unspoken fear.

Hi Joanny,
One small point here though, Kate didn't have that dream. They are none too clever are they?
It was announced by Gerry in an interview on Wednesday, Kate had no such dream. I'd like to make it absolutely clear that Kate has never had a dream that Madeleine was buried somewhere and I don't know if something has been lost in interpretation but that didn't happen.
Another thing she was never left alone while Gerry was away. Don't you just love it, dotting all the T's for them?

Re: Kate's dream about Madeleine
And Kate certainly wouldn't have discussed a dream with a Portuguese Policeman when she had friends and family with her at all times.

Re: Kate's dream about Madeleine
Lets get the phone records out and see if Kate rang the copper in the middle of the night, as they claim. Gerry and Kate can easily prove if such a call was made or not. They will most likely submit the phone records to the court, and that then makes a liar fof that witness.
I for one dont doubt that Kate had such dreams (about Madeleine beind dead etc, I have had them and she is not my daughter), but I was astounded that she had rang the police officer with one. IMO, she would ring her mother, or close friends first, if she rang anyone at all. So I was glad to hear that Gerry says its all crap.

Re: Kate's dream about Madeleine
I tend to agree with the posters here who pointed out Kate was never alone. This suggests that Paiva is lying or that Kate called in such a state in the middle of the night that she doesn't remember. Far more likely the former, IMHO.

Kate would still have woken someone in the house first. Why phone a Portuguese policeman who was miles away?

I agree. I'm just trying to come up with an alternate theory -- it's difficult, as you can see. ;p

Probably best to leave the alternative theories to Amaral. He is so much better at it.
Anyone who can interpret a dream that never happened, as a sign of guilt is streets ahead of you and me.
