Cops are investigating the finances of a smear group that claims missing Madeleine McCann is dead.
Detectives are probing claims the boss of the Madeleine Foundation pocketed up to £90,000 of donations from people who thought they were helping the official Find Madeleine Fund.
Retired solicitor Tony Bennett, 62, runs the group from his home in Harlow, Essex
And much of the cash under investigation comes from sales of a book he wrote blaming Maddie's parents Kate and Gerry for the threeyear-old's disappearance. All his group's accounts have now been frozen.
A McCann spokesman said last night: "It has been made clear to Mr Bennett by Kate and Gerry's lawyers that he must desist from his defamatory activities."
Meanwhile the McCanns, of Rothley, Leics, are drip-feeding their four-year-old twins information on Madeleine as they grow up.
Gp Kate, 41, said child psychologists have advised them Sean and Amelie will question them about their sister when they feel ready.
She added: "If they ask a question, we'll answer them honestly. But I'm not going to rush them."
Maddie vanished her parents' holiday flat in Praia da Luz, Portugal, in May 2007.

This is just the start, the Sun yesterday, the Sunday People today, which tabloid tomorrow? I wonder when it will make the Telegraph, Times, Inde, Guardian etc?
Tony Bennett, Debbie Butler, Stevo (yes you too idiot) Brenda Ryan, etc etc, they had better fasten their seat belts, methinks they are in for a very bumpy ride.
Now the majority of the British public are going to learn about these vile people and their grubby little existences and persistence in persecuting two innocent people.
Has this also been made clear to Debbie Butler when she was visited by the Maidstone police last week?
She gave her assurances the same time as Tony Bennett did, whether she agreed or not, apparently she still did, so why has she gone back on her word? Another of her lies?
This woman is STILL carrying on her filthy vendetta against Kate and Gerry McCann.
She is STILL spreading her venomous lies.
At present she is plotting with Brenda Ryan, trying to twist the McCanns arms up behind their backs, trying to force them to back their filthy little campaign to get the Portuguese police to reopen the Madeleine investigation. (Because imagine if the McCanns refuse, said Brenda Ryan, look how bad and guilty it would make them look in the eyes of the public")
This is the kind of help that Debbie Butler is trying to force the McCanns to accept? In my opinion, the McCanns and their family need protecting from scum like this! These people have a cheek, for 2.5 years they have directed the most filthy accusations at the McCanns. Brenda Ryan has overseen filthy pornographic pictures of Gerry McCann in a sexual act with his daughter's toy cuddle cat and Debbie Butler has been part of this and has never *NOT ONCE* has she spoken out against it.
Butler herself has stalked and persecuted the McCanns at every twist and turn and now suddenly we are supposed to believe she wants to help them?

I would also like to see the McCann's lawyers issues restraining orders against the above mentioned pack of numpties, so that they cannot come within 150 metres of the McCanns, their children and any other members of their family, that they are not allowed to make contact via phone, letter, text, email or internet.
That would make me feel a little better, and may just give the McCanns some peace of mind. It will not be hard to prove that they are a possible danger, remember a certain someone and friends sitting behind Gerry at the hearing for example. So I say, go for it.

That says a lot.....imo it doesn't matter how bad or good they look in the eyes of the public!!What matters id doing whats best for madeleine and the mccanns have very often found themselves being slated and accused by the public because of things they have done or not done.
To state what Brenda Ryan as stated there shows just how immature they are being about madeleines abduction.To Brenda ryna and co it seems to be some sort of point making game,like a team thing...do you wanna be in my gang etc..........and lets make the mccanns look bad in the eyes of the public for more brownie points!!

What makes you think that Mr. Bennett is spending any of his own money. As far as I can gather, he hasn't put his hand in his own pocket once yet. His hate campaign is being funded by a bunch of hate filled inadquates who do his bidding while he hides in the undergrowth. Probably the best place for him.

Exactly Sabot, notice the age and gender of the people Bennett Targets too! All of a certain age and all have time and money on their hands. Do you remember he denied outright the number of leafleters quoted in the Express and stated quite clearly that there were 3 and one was on a motorbike it made it very easy to identify who they were and now we learn that Bennett was present too, which is showing him up to be a bare faced liar, yet again!
Another thing, Bennett and "racist" Grenville Green go way back to UKIP and Veritas, well before Madeleine was abducted. I don't like Grenville Green, I dislike him intensely, he is the face of the ugly right wing of politics and it appears his wife Helene is no better either. I still cannot get over how nasty he was to that woman Corina, when they were all at the Bennett's for dinner, more or less told her that Nottingham didn't want her!

Apparently Bennett tripped someone's security lights near the McCann house, so he dived into the undergrowth. Personally, I find this screamingly funny. They are going to regret going within 100 miles of Rothley.

Just been on another site and I see Stevo/Debbie and TB have had a right ding dong via email. They are all odious! I also read that TBs mother is a member of BNP,just about says it all.

I will be interested to read both the letter and her reply. Everytime I have seen her reply to any accusations, she always digs herself in deeper by using information she thinks proves her point, but is actually libellous.
Lets see if she has learnt anything or if it will be more of the same with a bit of 'not my fault' thrown in.
