A new campaign to get informations about what happened to the British girl will be launched in Portugal. Kate McCann, the mother of the British girl who disappeared at Algarve, is the face of the new campaign which the couple launches today together with the London police and with the CEOP, Center of Protection against Children Exploitation. Now, that the twins Sean and Amelie are daily at school, Madeleine´s mum want a more active role at the campaign which the couple launched nine days after the disappearance which enters now in a "new phase". The new campaign, developed with the assistance of Lift Consulting, a Portuguese company expert in communication, targets Portugal, where the couple believes that someone can still hold informations about what, really, happened to the child in the night she diappeared. The kick off of the new campaign is given today in London, where the media was invited to attend in two briefings. "Given the change of schedule / clock,", explained Cláudia Nogueira of Lift Consulting, the first meeting should only count with British media, being a second meeting foreseen to Portuguese media. The two former police officers David Edgar and Arthur Cowley, believes the answer to the misterious disappearance of Maddie, founds in a 10 mile radius, around the Ocean Club. With the new campaign, the hope that someone says something and brings them the answer. Imagine if it was your daughter. For now, Kate and Gerry will not return to Algarve. Instead, they will receive the reportes in England, but, they told, are preparing a private trip to PDL, possibly before the end of this year. "Imagine if she was your daughter, imagine the pain and suffering, imagine someone like you never come forward. If you keep quiet, you are as guilty as those who have taken her", writes the couple at the official website, who was created after the abduction. The campaign, launched, almost together with a action in Justice against former PJ police officer Gonçalo Amaral, coincides with interviews whic Kate McCann will give to the media this week, to British and Portuguese media.
