The thing that I notice is that despite the obvious extra lighting to enable filming, it's pretty dark and I dont see any street lights. On May 3rd 2007 there was an almost full moon. From the chart on p.15 in Alroys A COMPLETE REVIEW OF MADDIES ABDUCTION,

FACTS

1. There was a full moon on May 2nd 2007, so the night would be pretty light on the third
   
2. Sunrise, 3rd May 2007 was 6.38am West
   
3. Sunset, 3rd May 2007 was 8.25pm West
   
4. The days were lengthening by about one minute in the morning and one minute in the evening, so the 4th May had sunrise at 6.37am West
   

So sunset was at 8.25pm West, and there was a full moon the day before. Dont know what West means when descibing the sunset time, but even if there was an hour difference between the times, it would have been dark or dusk. I think the former. This film will have had assisted lighting, but it still looks pretty dark.
