Has your family been hurt in this process?
This year in April, I started feeling very low. I did some blood tests and the result revealed that my body (this was not even a psychological matter anymore) was at its limit. The pressure had been huge (moving house, changing schools, changing jobs, defamation, Gonçalo's early retirement). All the common patterns were fine, including the hormonal part. Nonetheless, until today nobody understands how I managed to get so far.
By the end of April, my body had not even a trace of adrenalin, dopamine or serotonin. In physical and emotional terms, I had given everything I had, plus what I didn't have. The McCann couple, that is clearly and directly responsible, certainly knows what this means. Nevertheless, due to my psychiatrist and to my family that tried to protect me, I made it through the summer "on one foot". Afterwards, and due to the processes, the threats, in October my body failed and broke down. I went through shock therapy that included being "shut off" for two weeks. My husband didn't sleep, in order to "watch over" my sleep.
Thanks Tinks. See I was right, April it was.
And early May 2009 both of them were in The Netherlands and next went to France.

Amazing accomplishment for a woman who has not even a trace of adrenalin, dopomine or serotonin in her body.
Liars really should have a better memory........

"On one foot?" It's a miracle she was still standing, with all that lot missing. And all because someone was nasty to her husband?
She would never have survived if someone had abducted one of her children. The woman is a lying wimp. No guts.

Re: Sofia's Open Letter to Kate
I really don't get those two at all, Cath. Her husband was a policeman, so he had to work, well, look as though he was working.
And why was she so upset when someone attacked him verbally?
Policemen get attacked verbally.
It was more likely his antics and his debts that upset her, but even if she didn't write the letter, she never refuted it. Instead she lied about the letter she wrote to Portimao Police Station about Gonzalo's drunken behaviour. The letter is on record.
And I would still like to know where she moved to, and why. Was her house repossessed? That will have upset her.

Once the libel case is over, and amaral is forcibly seperated from his ill-gotten gains, we will hear the truth about life with gonzo, mark my words.

God, not another book. But I might just buy that one. She shouldn't have any trouble getting an English publisher. I might even help her myself.

I can only hope she won't mention certain aspects of her life with her Don Juan.

I think she might have to, Cath. She can hardly admit she was after his money.
But we can always skip those bits.

Oh, I am certain she will, and it certainly wont paint Amaral as a 'tiger' in the bedroom. If Amaral drinks anywhere near the amount that has been alleged, then ..............

I don't even think you can lack serotonin, adrenaline, and dopamine and not be dead.
What a lying, over-exaggerating, little immature woman.

I agree. I would feel bad for her if she hadn't written that letter to Kate and stood by this jerk. That letter was disgusting, awful, inexplicable and should never have been allowed. It should have been roundly condemned.
